Magic Ice Ball Cocktail

Have you ever woken up and thought, "Hmm, I think I'll light an ice ball of tequila on fire today. Just for fun!" This Magic Ice Ball cocktail recipe calls for doing just that. Recipe makers share that it does take a while to make this cocktail, but the payoff is literally strong--a strong tequila buzz, that is. You'll need rum, tequila, agave nectar, triple sec, lime juice and blue curaçao for this drink.

Try the recipe out and let us know how it went in the chat!

Black Lemonade

Have you ever tried making black lemonade? The reason it's black is a little disappointing. It's not like when you find out there are brown tomatoes and purple carrots; there are no black lemons, at least not that you'd want to consume safely! The color just comes from activated charcoal tablets, although I'm sure you could come up with another way to make it black if you preferred to do so.

Women Should Drink Less Than Men

It's unfair, but it's important to consider: studies indicate that women should stick to one drink per day while men can enjoy up to two. This is due to the increased risk of breast cancer for women who drink more than one drink per day. When people drink in moderation, it can reduce their risk of heart disease and diabetes, but moderation is just different for women and men. If a woman drinks two glasses per day, she actually increases her risk.

Girl Scout Cookie Cocktails

Girl Scout Cookie season my be over, but you can still make Girl Scout Cookie cocktails! While some of these do require actual cookies, many can be made with substitutions. You can also get cookies at select pop-up booths across the country (call your local supermarket to see if they'll be having one sometime soon). The cookies also freeze well, so keep that in mind for next year.
