Taco Bell Denied Liquor License

A moment of silence, please

Can we all just agree how awesome booze at Taco Bell would be? Taco Bell applied for a liquor license in Madison and was denied, so the company is suing the city for discrimination. Other cantina-style locations have been serving beer and wine and this location simply wanted to do the same. They claim that their request was denied on unreasonable grounds.

It makes perfect sense for Taco Bell to serve wine and beer cantina style. Most Mexican restaurants (okay, Taco Bell is not really a Mexican restaurant...) do the same thing and if they want to compete, they need to get in on it like McDonald's did with their super sugary coffee drinks.

Do you think Taco Bell should be allowed to sell booze in Madison?
